Madonna – Music Suggestions (part 1 – the rare or under-played 80s songs)

If you’re Gen X, you more than likely remember songs off Madonna’s first four albums that were released for radio air play in the 1980s (which would include the self titled debut, “Madonna”; then, “Like A Virgin”; next, “True Blue”; and finally, “Like A Prayer”).

You probably remember such ’80s era Madonna songs such as

• “Material Girl” (link to that on You Tube),
• “Dress You Up,” (link to that),
• “Open Your Heart” (link to that),
• “Crazy For You” (link to that),
• “Into the Groove” (link to that, Version 1 of song, link to that Version 2 of song)
• “True Blue” (link to that),
• “Like A Prayer” (link to that)
• “Cherish” (link to that)

I find that some of Madonna’s songs that were not  released for radio were actually just as good, or maybe even better, than the ones that received radio air play back then.
