A full animatronic E.T. model previously sold at Julien’s Auction for $2.5 million, with this original head expected to fetch between $800,000 and $1 million.

There will also be items from the Marvel Cinematic UniverseDC Comics movies, Harry Potter and much more going under the hammer.

One of the other top-dollar items expected to fetch in the mid-six-figures is the Model B-9 ‘The Robot‘ from the iconic 1960s TV series Lost in Space.

This is one of just two full-scale models of the robot that was made for the show’s three season run, which is still functional and one of the rarest artifacs from the era.

There will also be a number of items going on the block as part of Warner Bros.’ 100 year anniversary celebration, including a film-worn costume from 1992’s Batman Returns.

Famous movie car designer George Barris was granted a patent for the design of the Batmobile 56 years ago today on October 18, 1966.

The iconic car was used throughout the Batman TV show’s original three-season run and made an appearance years later in a 1989 film.

Barris designed the first one around a Lincoln Futura show car and built three more with fiberglass bodies for the production. batmobile

The original was sold at auction in 2013 for $4.62 million, the same year it was the subject of a rights battle in court.

Not over the patent, which expired after 14 years, but its copyright and trademark protections.
